About Brokerbility

Brokerbility is an exclusive group of like minded, high quality independent brokers. The brokers within the organisation were selected for their reputation in the insurance marketplace and as a result are all well established, highly ethical, well managed and forward thinking businesses in their own right.

Brokerbility acquired its first broker in January 2006 and since then has developed and strengthened its organisational profile both structurally and financially. Today Brokerbility controls over £400m of premiums in the insurance market.

The success of Brokerbility is based on its ability to provide the brokers within the group the necessary support to deliver to its client base "first-class insurance products, supported by bespoke customer service solutions". This philosophy has been fundamental to its financial growth and continued business expansion since the inception of the company.

Brokerbility Director Julie Rayson-Flynn states, “Our model ensures that the brokers within the group combine the best elements of being a genuine independent community and niche or specialist broker with the market presence and depth of resources of a national broker."

Our Values

The values that Brokerbility brokers have as a business relate to the importance they place upon:

  • Continued organic and acquisition growth
  • Client tailored insurance solutions
  • Ethical practice
  • Marketplace reputation
  • The highest quality customer care
  • Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)

All of the brokers within the organisation were selected because they can demonstrate that their beliefs and business practices are in accordance with these six key elements.

The overall goal for the organisation is to support the brokers within the group to make them fitter and stronger independent brokers within the business sectors they operate in.

Our Strategy

We have an effective long term strategy in place for Brokerbility brokers to succeed:

  • Exclusive club
  • Unique products electronically traded
  • Agreed placing strategy
  • Growth / acquisitions
  • Genuine partnerships

We have a long term strategic vision which is based on strong and sustainable relationships with our insurer partners. This is underpinned by delivering excellent financial returns and loss ratio for insurers. We will maintain the longevity of the group while other players with different models move towards exit or reinvention.
